generic.de celebrates 25th anniversary and announces further growth in Croatia

‍Karlsruhe, 10.06.2024. The Karlsruhe-based IT company generic.de celebrated its 25th anniversary on 08.06.24. In addition to local politicians, representatives of former universities on the board attended the anniversary celebration of the founder-led IT service provider.

The celebration took place on the grounds of the company headquarters opened in 2022 in the Neureut-Kirchfeld district of Karlsruhe. The building, which has been awarded for its sustainable construction, offers not only modern workplaces but also plenty of room for further growth. generic.de currently employs around 90 people and achieved a turnover of just under 10 million euros in 2023.

On course for growth in Croatia

The company also recently acquired a majority stake in littlecode, a software company from Croatia. The aim is to continue to grow — while maintaining the same software and service quality. In addition, the company is opening up an attractive personnel market and is counteracting the shortage of skilled workers among software developers in Germany.

Puder emphasizes: “Sustainability is a central issue for us in all areas and we will continue to grow sustainably and healthily. By increasing our shares in littlecode, we have taken the logical next step to become one of the top providers of individual software solutions on the European market. ”
